Remington PharmacyComplete Case Studies
For 100 years, Remington has been the definitive reference on the science and practice of pharmacy, widely used in education, healthcare, and corporate settings. In partnership with Remington, Pharmaceutical Press is developing a comprehensive online educational resource for pharmacy instructors and students - Remington PharmacyComplete. Among many other elements, an extensive collection of peer-reviewed case studies will be featured on this website, which is scheduled to launch in Fall 2012.
As a preview of the rich content to be included in Remington PharmacyComplete, we will be distributing a periodical publication, Remington PharmacyComplete Cases (ISSN 2046-6676), to all North American Schools of Pharmacy in 2011. The publication is designed for your use as a teaching tool. Each edition will include a varied selection of peer-reviewed case studies submitted by instructors like you across North America. At present, we are accepting submissions of case studies for peer-review. In addition, we will make the cases selected for Remington PharmacyComplete Cases available to you in pdf format on this website. To submit a case, download available cases or to receive e-alerts about Remington PharmacyComplete, please use the tabs below and register (or use your existing Pharmaceutical Press login).
Submit Your Case Studies to Remington PharmacyComplete
An important part of the new Remington PharmacyComplete online educational resource for pharmacy instructors and students will be an extensive collection of peer-reviewed case studies written by instructors like you across North America. These case studies are written with particular learning objectives in mind ranging from common scenarios aimed at students at earlier learning stages through to extreme or atypical cases that are challenging for advanced students or practitioners. The aim of a good case study is to represent pharmacy practice in the chosen setting in the most realistic way possible - we are interested in the educational value of the case rather than its novelty.
Although diverse in subject matter, the case studies are highly templated, making them easier for instructors to evaluate and for their students to navigate. For full details on how to prepare and submit your case study, including the explanation of difficulty levels and the list of template components, please download our author guidelines PDF. For further information, please contact Adrianne Brigido, Executive Editor at Pharmaceutical Press.
- Make your work visible to the pharmacy faculty community by publishing on Remington PharmacyComplete.
