Welcome to the February BNF eNewsletter.
Five new drug monographs have been added to the BNF in the last month, including - avelumab, dupilumab, methoxyflurane, darunavir with cobicistat, emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide, and fluticasone with umeclidinium and vilanterol.

This issue includes dose changes for lisdexamfetamine and raltegravir, as well as new guidance on the management of endometriosis. We have included updated MHRA advice on fingolimod (Gilenya®) incorporating new contraindications in relation to cardiac risk and updated advice about risk of cancers and serious infections. You will also find NICE technology appraisals for ibrutinib for treating Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia and vismodegib for treating basal cell carcinoma.
