I Welcome
Welcome to the February BNF eNewsletter.
Four new drug monographs have been added to the BNF in the last month: abemaciclib; binimetinib; encorafenib and tildrakizumab. One new monograph has been added to the BNFC: romiplostim.

We have included dose changes for Oseltamivir and Secukinumab. NICE guidance has been included: Gemtuzumab ozogamicin for untreated acute myeloid leukaemia; Liposomal cytarabine-daunorubicin for untreated acute myeloid leukaemia; Tofacitinib for moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis and Vandetanib for treating medullary thyroid cancer.

MHRA advice has also been included on emollients, valproate medicines, direct-acting antivirals for chronic hepatitis C and hydrocortisone muco-adhesive buccal tablets. We have also included updated information on smoking cessation.
