I Welcome
Welcome to the January BNF eNewsletter.
Two new drug monographs have been added to the BNF in the last month - isavuconazole and ceftobiprole. See the links under BNF Update, where you'll also find details of recommended dose adjustments due to interactions for olaparib with potent or moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors.

This issue also includes updated guidance on the management of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, MHRA advice for idelalisib, and an NHS improvement patient safety alert for injectable phenytoin and for insulin withdrawal from pen devices.

You'll also find a valuable case study on the drug treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
Kind regards,
BNF Team
