Welcome to the March BNF eNewsletter.

Ten new drug monographs have been added to the BNF in the last month, including - Cobimetinib, Carfilzomib, Evolocumab, Talimogene, Trametinib and Osimertinib.

This issue includes MHRA advice on increased risk of interaction with vitamin K antagonists and direct-acting antivirals, and the use of acetylcysteine for paracetamol overdose. You will also find NICE technology appraisals for Evolocumab, Mepolizumab, Trametinib, Everolimus, Imatinib and Ticagrelor.

BNF 73 has been revised and updated to reflect best practice as well as up-to-date legal and professional guidelines relating to the uses of medicines. Access to the latest edition is vital for healthcare professionals, giving reliable guidance on prescribing, dispensing, and administering medicines. In addition, NICE have formally accredited the editorial process used by the British National Formulary to produce its resources.
