The Pharmaceutical Journal (PJ) is the official weekly journal of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. With a circulation of over 30,000 copies the PJ has the largest circulation of any weekly pharmaceutical publication in the world.As well as providing comprehensive news coverage of all aspects of pharmacy in Britain and developments in other parts of the world of relevance, The PJ publishes technical articles and reviews on medicines and medicines use. Also included are letters, book reviews and reports of international conferences, and it publishes a highly regarded continuing professional development section.

Pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council can only obtain The Pharmaceutical Journal as part of the membership package offered by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society or in a bundle consisting of the Pharmaceutical Journal, the Clinical Pharmacist, access to PJ Online and Medicines Ethics & Practice at a cost of £205

Reduced rates for subscriptions to The Pharmaceutical Journal are available for pharmacy students.
RPS accredited schools of pharmacy
From 1 March 2012 accredited schools of pharmacy in the EU are eligible for a university corporate subscription to PJ Online for £1000 plus VAT per annum. This grants full access via IP range and up to five registered email addresses incorporating user name and password for off-site use. Universities may also register more individuals to access PJ Online off site and we can quote for this on an individual university basis. Schools of pharmacies in other parts of the world should also request an individual quote.
