To make it even easier to find the information you need, the content in the new NPF 2015-2017 has been restructured to be clearer and more consistent. These changes mirror the restructure in the BNF and BNFC. See www.bnf.org to find out more, along with sample pages and a clear guide on how to use the improved BNF.
The NPF provides an overview of some common conditions together with details of the medicines that may be prescribed by Community Practitioner Nurse Prescribers for patients receiving NHS treatment.
Fully revised and updated, the latest edition includes details of preparations that have been deleted from the Nurse Prescribers’ List, including Dipobath® emollient and Piperazine and senna powder NPF, along with an update on the dose of miconazole oral gel.
It also contains details about wound management products and elasticated garments, taken from BNF 70 (Sept 2015 – March 2016).
