The Handbook on Injectable Drugs, 16th Edition, is a collection of summaries of information from the published literature on the pharmaceutics of 359 parenteral medications as applied to the clinical setting and commercially available in the United States and in other countries. The Handbook is constructed from information derived from 2723 references, including 100 new to this edition.
As for each previous edition, the monographs have been completely updated. In addition to the updated monographs, 13 additional monographs on parenteral drugs that are new to this edition are presented.
The purpose of the Handbook is to facilitate the use of this clinical pharmaceutics research by knowledgeable health care professionals for the benefit of patients. The summary information from published research is supplemented with information from the labeling of each product and from other references.
