FACT Focus on Alternative and Complementary Therapies

Focus on Alternative and Complementary Therapies (FACT) is a quarterly review journal that presents evidence on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in an analytical and impartial manner.
The increase in the popularity of complementary medicine applies not only to its use, but also to the research effort that is now being invested in this area. However, much of the research is published in a large number of journals, both specialist publications in complementary medicine and in mainstream medical journals. No individual can be expected to scan all of these publications and so FACT systemically searches the world literature to uncover key articles in CAM research. The most important factual papers are abstracted and critically appraised. These summaries and commentaries are written by the members of the international Editorial Board who are themselves leading researchers in various areas of CAM. FACT also publishes focus and feature articles (mini-reviews),short reports, debate articles, guest editorials, interviews, news and book reviews, making it an essential resource for CAM researchers and practitioners.
FACT is included in numerous abstracting and indexing databases, including CINAHL, EMBASE, Scopus and MANTIS.
